I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Michigan State University and have continued to expand my knowledge through various training and certificates.   I have also taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida State University in both Undergraduate and Master's level courses from 2018 to 2023.   In addition, I was honored to be appointed by the Governor of Florida to serve on the Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors from 2015 to 2020 and served as the Board Chair.

In my 30 years of experience as a clinician, I have successfully worked with a variety of clients. My expertise includes areas of depression, anxiety, relationships, stress management, grief, life/college transitions and trauma. I have training and experience in Military-Informed Care and am a certified EMDR therapist and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
